Cooking with Tea

Our 'Cooking with tea' class is a great way to learn more about the endless possibilities of tea. Tea can easily be used to smoke salmon, as a broth for tasty soups, or as an ingredient in cookies and cakes. Contact us for additional information or check out our recipe section.


"Menus by Mies" - Cooking with Tea Class

Date: Tuesday, November 8th from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$65 per person


This year, The Tea Haus has partnered with Mies Bervoets to offer a fantastic cooking with tea experience. 

Mies Bervoets is a Certified Chef de Cuisine with more than 25 years experience in the hospitality industry. For 15 years she was the Chef/Owner of London’s acclaimed and award winning Miestro Restaurant, featuring Asian Fusion cuisine.

In her cooking classes, Mies showcases her unique culinary talents, making this event a memorable experience. 

On the menu:

Tibetan Chai and Black Garlic Carpazzio served with Asiago curls and sweet Chili reduction

Dragon blend marinated smoked salmon filet, local roasted fall vegetables and edamame studded quinoa; roasted Asian inspired tomato reduction

Sweet Rooibos Chai infused coconut creme caramel with a maple and organic vanilla reduction
